Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients while maintaining high standards of medical support. Duties Assist with patient intake, including collecting vital signs, medical histories, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for provider use. Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and assisting with procedure. Assist with patient documentation, including medical records, and detailed notes on patient encounters. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within outpatient or hospital environments. (Preferred) Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications in phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus. Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures, inpatient/outpatient care settings, and specialty areas such as geriatrics or internal medicine is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills for managing medical documentation, records management, and clinic workflows.
