We are looking for a dependable, compassionate professional who enjoys working with children and families, from newborns through age 21. Responsibilities Obtain and accurately document vital signs, including age-appropriate measurements. Take patient histories and enter information accurately into the electronic medical record. Administer vaccines and medication injections as ordered, following office protocols and applicable scope-of-practice requirements. Prepare patients and exam rooms for well-child visits, sick visits, and procedures. Assist providers with patient care and communicate clearly with patients and families. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and follow infection-control procedures. Qualifications Current medical assistant certification required. Previous pediatric medical assisting experience required. Proficiency in obtaining accurate pediatric vital signs and administering injections. Experience documenting patient histories and care in an EMR. Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. A patient, friendly approach to caring for children of all ages.

Pay:

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
