Key Responsibilities Guide patients through intake, health history review, and diagnostic pre-testing Reinforce patient education related to contact lenses, medical eye care, and prevention Assist doctors with contact lens services, follow-up care, and treatment preparation Provide attentive, organized, and patient-centered service throughout each visit No eye care experience? Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy setting Comfort using computers and learning new systems Willingness to learn clinical and optical skills and work as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare, optometry, ophthalmology, optical sales, or customer service Experience with scheduling, electronic health records, insurance, or multi-line phone systems Prior eye care experience is helpful but not required.
