Our clinics provide a modern, personalized healthcare experience centered around men's health and wellness. We are looking for an energetic, professional, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Bentonville team. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with patients, takes pride in providing exceptional service, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Overview The Medical Assistant will play an important role in delivering an outstanding patient experience while supporting the clinical team with day-to-day patient care and clinic operations. This position involves a combination of clinical responsibilities, patient interaction, administrative support, and maintaining a clean and professional clinic environment. The ideal candidate is confident interacting with patients, detail-oriented, dependable, personable, and comfortable working in a healthcare environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care Welcome and room patients in a friendly, professional manner. Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and other clinical information. Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Administer medications and injections as directed and within the scope of applicable laws, regulations, and clinic protocols. Assist providers during examinations and procedures. Perform point-of-care testing and other clinical tasks as directed. Monitor patients and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the provider. Provide patients with clear instructions regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records. Patient Experience Create a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for every patient. Develop strong relationships with patients and make them feel comfortable throughout their visits. Answer patient questions within the scope of the position and appropriately escalate clinical questions to the provider. Help educate patients regarding their treatment plans and clinic services. Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion. Clinic Operations Prepare examination rooms and clinical areas for patients. Maintain appropriate inventory of medical supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered. Follow infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and other applicable healthcare standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment. Assist with scheduling, check-in/check-out, phone calls, and other administrative tasks as needed. Follow established clinical protocols and workflows. Work collaboratively with providers and other members of the GameDay team.
Qualifications Required:
Medical Assistant experience or relevant healthcare experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Comfortable working directly with patients.
Preferred:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Experience with phlebotomy and injections. Experience in men's health, primary care, urgent care, wellness, or a similar outpatient setting. Experience with electronic medical records. Schedule Clinic hours and schedule will be determined based on operational needs.
