Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate bilingual Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient service to our OBGYN patients. This position requires a solid understanding of obstetrics and gynecology. This is a 12 week work assignment from October 1st 2026-December 31st 2026. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient care services. Requirements Experience in OBGYN clinic setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with healthcare systems and electronic health record (EHR) software is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
