$31,824 per year Join the New Path Mental Health & Wellness team! New Path Mental Health & Wellness is seeking a dependable, compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing Little Rock clinic. This position plays a key role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting our psychiatric providers and treatment team.

Schedule Monday-Thursday:

8:00 AM - 5:00

PM Friday:

Half-day (with the possibility to transition to a full day as the clinic continues to grow) Responsibilities Obtain and document patient vital signs Prepare patients for appointments and treatments Assist with patient care during ketamine infusion and Spravato (esketamine) treatments under provider supervision Complete insurance prior authorizations Respond to medication questions and route clinical concerns appropriately Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries Contact patients regarding outstanding account balance Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Support providers and clinical staff with daily operations Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are clean, stocked, and ready for patients Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation. Qualifications Current Medical Assistant Certification Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a behavioral health environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred Reliable, professional, and compassionate If you're passionate about helping patients on their mental health journey and want to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
