4 days/week Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Gilbert, AZ 85234. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title:

Gilbert, AZ 85234

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 4 days per week

Hours:

6:30 AM-4:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:30 PM

Pay Range:

$23/hour Key Responsibilities

Perform patient check-in and check-out and complete accurate patient intake.

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.

Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and other required documentation.

Assist with end-of-day batching and related front-office administrative duties.

Communicate professionally with patients and address questions regarding appointments and administrative processes.

Required Qualifications

Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent accredited MA training.

Current BLS certification.

Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in both front-office and back-office settings.

Experience with patient intake, scheduling, rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and medical history documentation.

Experience with IG medication administration.

Experience with prior authorization processing.

Experience with insurance eligibility verification and benefits.

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work effectively with patients, providers, insurance companies, and other healthcare professionals. #PHC
