Job Description

Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant! We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our wonderful team! This is a full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week . You do not need to be a Certified Medical Assistant to apply. However, previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred . We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, is a team player, and is comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Take and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature Administer medications and injections under the direction of a healthcare provider Collect specimens, perform venipuncture, and assist with basic laboratory testing Prepare and maintain examination rooms, supplies, and medical equipment Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care Help manage patient records, appointments, and other administrative tasks Provide general support to providers and the rest of the healthcare team Assist is Prior Authorizations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous Medical Assistant or clinical experience preferred, but certification is not required Comfortable taking vital signs, administering injections, performing venipuncture, and collecting specimens Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team A positive attitude and willingness to learn! Pay:
Up to $22.50 per hour
