Job Description

Fast paced family medicine practice is seeking experienced professionals. Must be proficient in working in a primary care setting and handling a heavy patient volume. This individual must be a cheerful, friendly, self starter, able to multi-task, have the ability to be proactive, prioritize and handle high patient volume, and maintain patient confidentiality. Must have a high attention to detail, able to handle all situations in a professional manner, demonstrate compassion and caring for patients and family. Looking for a team player. Be punctual and dependable, as the patient care depends on you. It is imperative they are comfortable with working with an EHR and must work well under pressure, be a sufficient problem solver and able to work a flexible schedule. We are seeking pleasant, dependable and professional people with cheery dispositions and a heart for patient care to join our growing team. FT Medical Assistant. Certification preferred- Some of the duties of the Medical Assistant include greeting patients, obtaining chief complaints, taking medical histories, obtaining and charting vitals in EHR, preparing patient for examinations and procedures, assisting the physician during examination and procedures, collecting specimens, completing lab requisitions, assisting in pap smears, blood draws, injections, preparing exam room for next patient, keeping rooms stocked, keeping patient flow moving, assisting with scanning charts, maintaining stock, answering the telephone in a professional manner, scheduling appointments.
