This position supports physicians and patients by providing both clinical Medical Assistant services and orthopedic casting and splinting. If no casting experience no worries we will train you. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; obtain vital signs and patient histories. Perform medication reconciliation and maintain accurate EHR documentation. Assist physicians with examinations, minor procedures, injections, suture removal, and dressing changes. Apply, remove, and maintain casts, splints, and braces as directed. Fit patients with orthopedic braces and splints and provide basic care instructions. Prepare and maintain exam rooms, cast bays, instruments, and clinical supplies. Maintain clean and organized treatment areas and follow infection-control procedures. Complete required MIPS measures and documentation. Assist with scheduling, referrals, insurance authorizations, and patient calls. Maintain accurate patient records and protect patient confidentiality. Provide prompt, professional, and compassionate customer service. Work collaboratively with physicians, providers, and other clinical and administrative staff. Assist other departments or locations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Current CPR certification required. Previous orthopedic, Medical Assistant, or casting experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
