Job Description
Medical Assistant NMCI Medical Clinic, Inc. is a multispecialty clinic providing medical care in the areas of Occupational Medicine, Primary Care, Interventional Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. We have clinics located in San Jose, San Mateo, Alameda, Salinas, Sacramento, and Stockton. Description We are looking for a Medical Assistant, preferably with 1-2 years' medical assisting experience. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday in our Alameda clinic. Job duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking vitals, gathering patient history, doing injections, filing records and assisting physicians. Requirements Must be fluent in both English and Spanish languages Strong computer skills (MS office) a must. Current CPR BLS certification preferred Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible, and have the ability to multi-task. Must be dependable and reliable with excellent attendance. Experience with EMR and medical management software a strong plus.
