Medical Assistant

Answer incoming calls and transfer to the appropriate department Maintain up to date patient charts, including any imaging, hospital notes, studies, and surgeries. Accompany doctors into patient exam rooms to record any patient/doctor information into patient's chart. Send referrals to outside facilities/providers. Enter prescribed medications in Office Ally for doctor's review Ensure all surgeries are schedule, orders are faxed and entered into the system, and clearance is faxed to the correct provider, if applicable. Spanish speaking preferred
