This position is responsible for assisting with and preparing for technology and procedure and patient visit work as well as follow up and responding to patients' ongoing questions and needs. An asset would be to be experienced and knowledgeable. We are a fast paced, service oriented, efficient and effective, lovely group. As well, an experienced, organized problem solver, motivated, self-reliant and assured with excellent computer, software, leadership, communication, writing, prioritization, administrative and time management skills and likeable, compassionate, patient, understanding, able to continually think and multi-task and under time management pressure. You must be experienced in dealing multi-culturally, and able to work with the highest levels of functioning executives, co-workers, sales staff, customers and patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Medical Assistant, you will be using your expertise on being trained and knowledgeable to correctly recommend and help the practitioners utilizing the office lasers, diagnostic technology and serving patients needs. As a Medical Assistant, your position will be to help assist, facilitate and develop the Doctor's medical and surgical practice with daily medical office tasks, patient correspondence, emails, scheduling, prescriptions, bloodwork and follow-up, assisting in procedures, supplies maintenance or performing autonomously as trained, practice and sales development.
  • Liaise along with other staff with patients, follow-ups and ongoing procedure prescribing/orders/instructions, scheduling, invoicing, pricing, prescriptions.
  • Participating and learning and inputting in product/procedure sales and education, which includes working with the office personnel and outside staff.
  • Up-sell and educate re procedures and treatments to patients.
