Based in Beverly Hills, the practice cares for patients from across the United States and more than 65 countries, with an emphasis on precision, discretion, thoughtful care, and an exceptionally high standard of patient experience. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who views patient care as a long-term profession and takes genuine pride in being exceptional at it. Ideally, this person will grow into, or already be prepared to assume, the role of Lead Medical Assistant , becoming a trusted clinical partner to Dr. Dugar and taking meaningful ownership of the day-to-day standards, organization, and performance of the clinical side of the practice. This is a hands-on position. Leadership here does not mean stepping away from patient care. It means being exceptionally strong at the work yourself while helping ensure that the entire clinical environment operates at the same standard. The Opportunity You will work directly alongside Dr. Dugar across surgical, pre-operative, post-operative, and aesthetic care while becoming deeply familiar with his clinical preferences, protocols, and standards. We are looking for someone who can eventually own the Medical Assistant function with confidence: anticipating what Dr. Dugar needs, maintaining clinical organization, ensuring rooms and supplies are consistently prepared, helping train and guide other Medical Assistants, identifying gaps in workflow, and making the clinical day easier for the physician, team, and patients. The strongest candidate will combine excellent hands-on Medical Assistant skills with maturity, judgment, initiative, and the ability to lead by example. Clinical & Patient Care Assist Dr. Dugar during consultations, pre-operative appointments, post-operative care, and aesthetic treatments. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while maintaining a calm, professional, and reassuring presence. Provide clear post-operative instructions and reinforce physician-directed care protocols. Recognize clinical concerns, communicate them appropriately, and ensure important information reaches the physician without delay. Build trust with patients throughout their surgical journey and help maintain the highly attentive standard of care expected within the practice. Support injectable and regenerative treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and PRP. Surgical & Procedure Support Assist Dr. Dugar during in-office procedures and treatments. Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment according to practice protocols. Maintain appropriate sterile and clean technique and ensure rooms are fully prepared before each patient encounter. Anticipate physician needs during procedures and help maintain an efficient, controlled clinical environment. Ensure appropriate preparation, turnover, and follow-through before and after procedures. Clinical Photography & Documentation Capture consistent, high-quality before-and-after photography for surgical and aesthetic patients. Maintain accurate and organized patient records and clinical documentation. Ensure photographs, consent forms, treatment information, and required clinical documentation are properly completed and maintained. Protect patient privacy and exercise appropriate discretion at all times. Lead Medical Assistant Responsibilities For a candidate joining at the Lead level, or progressing into it, responsibilities will also include: Serve as the primary point person for Medical Assistant standards, workflow, and day-to-day clinical organization Help train, mentor, and onboard Medical Assistants to Dr. Dugar's protocols and expectations Ensure clinical responsibilities are clearly assigned and consistently completed Maintain accountability for room readiness, stocking, documentation, photography, and clinical follow-through Identify inefficiencies or recurring problems and develop practical solutions Help create and maintain clinical protocols, checklists, training materials, and systems Coordinate with practice leadership to ensure the clinical schedule is appropriately supported Communicate proactively with Dr. Dugar regarding clinical needs, concerns, and operational issues Set the standard for professionalism, reliability, patient care, discretion, and attention to detail Help maintain our clinical environment in which responsibilities are anticipated rather than repeatedly delegated We are particularly interested in someone who understands that good leadership reduces friction. What We're Looking For Required:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting Strong hands-on patient care experience Excellent understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflow Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining composed and accurate Professional, polished, and comfortable interacting with a discerning patient population Strong judgment and appropriate understanding of when to act independently and when to escalate Reliable, punctual, accountable, and consistent Comfortable learning and working within digital medical systems and technology Able to take initiative and execute without repeated supervision Interested in a long-term position and continued growth within the practice

Strongly Preferred:

Previous experience in plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics, or another procedure-driven specialty Previous Lead Medical Assistant, senior MA, training, mentoring, or clinical team coordination experience Experience assisting with minor surgical procedures Experience with Botox, fillers, PRP, or other aesthetic treatments Experience with clinical before-and-after photography Familiarity with sterile technique, surgical instruments, and procedure-room preparation Experience developing or improving clinical workflows, protocols, or training systems Bachelor's Degree Medical Assistant certification is welcomed but not required .
