The ideal candidate will have strong medical front-office experience and help ensure a welcoming patient experience and efficient clinic operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, supporting scheduling, insurance verification, billing, medical records, and daily administrative operations . The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, compassionate, and able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Patient Scheduling & Front Desk Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Check patients in/out and provide excellent customer service. Manage cancellations, no-shows, referrals, and follow-up appointments. Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally. Insurance & Billing Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Update patient demographic and insurance information. Assist with Medicare, HMO, PPO, billing, claims, payments, and collections . Identify and help resolve insurance and billing issues. EMR/EHR & Medical Records Enter and maintain accurate patient information and medical records. Review charts and assist with documentation as needed. Maintain strict HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. Experience with OfficeAlly, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EMR systems is highly preferred. Administrative & Clinic Support Perform filing, scanning, data entry, correspondence, and other administrative duties. Assist with referrals, authorizations, medical records requests, and care coordination. Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow. Assist with office organization, supplies, and inventory. Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of medical front-office/administrative experience preferred. Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical insurance, Medicare, billing, and claims. Experience with EMR/EHR systems. Strong computer, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and professional telephone etiquette. Dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a busy medical environment. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Filipino/Tagalog language proficiency is required.
