In this vital role, you will support the management and organization of patient medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare privacy regulations. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health information management and develop a strong foundation in medical office operations. Your contributions will help streamline clinical workflows and enhance patient care delivery. Responsibilities Assist in organizing, filing, and maintaining accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR) systems Enter and update patient information using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) software with precision and attention to detail Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy protection policies and clinical confidentiality policies at all times Support the coding of medical records using appropriate medical terminology and coding standards for billing and revenue cycle management Verify that all medical records adhere to health information regulatory compliance standards and policies Respond to internal requests for medical records promptly while maintaining strict confidentiality Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment details Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in health information management is a plus Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel Familiarity with health regulation policy knowledge, medical terminology, and medical records management practices Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of EHR systems, EMR/EHR management, and healthcare privacy protection principles Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information Join us in making a difference by supporting vital healthcare operations!
