Medical Assistant (M-F 8:00am•5:00pm) no weekends

Job Summary:
We are excited to expand our team and invite applications for a Medical Assistant position. This role involves direct patient care, including rooming patients, recording vitals, administering injections, and acting as a liaison between our physicians and patients. Key Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including preparing examination rooms, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures. Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention as instructed by healthcare providers. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, sanitation regulations, and infection control protocols. Handle sensitive and confidential patient information with professionalism, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as managing medical supplies inventory and handling patient correspondence.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred. Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is an asset, specifically with back-office experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and clinical tasks. BLS Certification Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work overtime. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
