Our practice currently has one full-time physician, a nurse practitioner, and a physician assistant.
REQUIREMENTS
MA Certification. Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably primary care office) using and working with
SUTTER EPIC
electronic medical record. It is also essential that candidates have: Excellent customer service skills that involves interacting and discussing diagnostic results with patients, both in person and on the phone. Competency to accurately record data into the computer system Ability to function well under stressful situations. Ability to multi-task Proficiency with front and back office work. Knowledge of computer software such as windows operating system, web based applications such as google search and docs Thorough knowledge of how to do Patient check-in and check-out; Medication refills (through telephone, fax, and EPIC). Knowledge of different insurance types and inputting them in the Sutter
EPIC EMR.
Skills to perform injections, take vital signs, administer EKGs, and perform other usual MA credential duties in addition to helping the medical provider. Knowledge of Hills/Sutter metrics reporting is not required, though would make for a more ideal candidate.
