office Medical Assistant/ We are seeking upbeat, highly motivated individuals to join our teamEssential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct patients and visitors
- Patient
INSURANCE
verification- Patient registration/check-out
- Enter patient data into the registration system
- Collect co-payments and deductibles
- Reconcile daily cash report
- Schedule patient appointments
- Answer telephone and respond to inquiry, direct caller to appropriate personnel or initiate a triage email for response by medical personnel
- Maintain supplies and cleanliness of entire office
- Ensure maintenance of patient confidentiality
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties
- Document patient's height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure
- Review and record medical history including current medications
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests; prepare specimens for transport to laboratory
- Administer injections
- Assist in minor procedures
- Review physician orders, lab requests or follow-up needs with patients
- Maintain supplies and cleanliness of examination rooms
- Ensure maintenance of patient confidentiality
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties
