Job Description

The Medical Assistant will support physicians and providers in both the medical clinic and medical spa. This role requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, excellent patient communication, and the ability to deliver a high-level patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, polished, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical (Medical Center) Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Administer injections (vaccines, IM, SQ) as directed Perform EKGs, spirometry, urine testing, and basic in-office labs Phlebotomy and specimen processing Assist with minor procedures Refill prescriptions per protocol Manage patient calls, messages, and follow-ups Maintain accurate documentation in EMR Ensure exam rooms are stocked and compliant with safety standards Aesthetic / Medical Spa Assist with aesthetic consultations and treatment preparation Prepare treatment rooms for procedures (Morpheus8, Lumecca IPL, Forma, laser hair removal, PRP, Botox/fillers support, etc.) Take high-quality before-and-after photos Apply topical numbing and provide post-care instructions Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment room cleanliness Support inventory management of aesthetic supplies Ensure a luxury-level patient experience before, during, and after treatments Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA preferred) OR will train right candidate Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office (required) Experience in medical aesthetics or dermatology (preferred) Proficient in EMR systems Strong phlebotomy skills Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA compliance Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualities Interest in aesthetics and wellness Social media comfort (bonus if able to assist with behind-the-scenes content) Sales awareness and ability to educate patients on services Team-oriented mindset High attention to detail Warm, confident, and polished presence What We Offer Competitive compensation (based on experience) Growth opportunities within a physician-led practice Training in advanced aesthetic procedures Supportive and positive team culture Opportunity to work in both medical and aesthetic environments
