If you would like to join our family, please read about us at www.the-pain-clinic.org About the Position Hemet Pain and Wellness Institute is seeking a dependable, motivated, and compassionate Medical Assistant / Procedure Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office and be comfortable assisting a provider with pain management procedures. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is organized, attentive to detail, professional, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Assist the provider with pain management procedures, including: Epidural injections Nerve blocks Radiofrequency procedures and ablations Spinal cord stimulator procedures Other pain management interventions as directed Prepare procedure rooms and ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available Assist with patient positioning and preparation before procedures Provide support to the provider during procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort Assist patients with check-in and check-out Obtain and document patient information as needed Assist with basic medical office and clinical duties Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas Follow office policies, procedures, and patient safety protocols Provide professional and compassionate patient care Communicate effectively with providers and fellow staff members Work as a team player and assist other areas of the clinic when needed Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities or workflow as needed to meet the needs of the clinic Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant or medical office experience preferred Pain management experience strongly preferred Experience assisting with procedures is highly desirable Knowledge of basic medical terminology and clinical procedures Strong organizational and communication skills Professional, dependable, and punctual Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must be comfortable working closely with providers and patients Must be a positive team player Must be willing to adjust duties and assist where needed to support clinic operations What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well with others, and genuinely enjoys helping patients.
