Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a experienced, highly skilled and professional medical Receptionist to join our team. As a medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your exceptional customer service skills and fluency in English/ Spanish will be essential in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all. Bilingual preferred.APPLICANT MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A DOCTORS OFFICE. INEXPERIENCED APPLICANTS DO NOT APPLY.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical record systems .
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Assist with medical scheduling and ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Provide administrative support to the medical office staff as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
