Medical Assistant (MA) -

Per Diem Schedule:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with variable scheduling and every other weekend

Clinic Position Summary We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinical operations and provide quality patient care. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for patient rooming, clinical measurements, procedures, and assisting providers with routine examinations and treatments. Required Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification is required.

Demonstrated experience with:

Patient rooming Vital signs Injections EKGs Back-office clinical procedures Assisting physicians with Pap clinics Simple wound care Primary Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits. Obtain and document vital signs accurately. Perform injections and EKGs as directed. Assist physicians with Pap clinics and other clinical procedures. Provide simple wound care. Operate a retinal photo camera, as needed. Support blood pressure (B/P) clinic activities. Perform meter downloads and related clinical support tasks. Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical protocols. Assist the clinical team with daily back-office operations. Schedule & Work Environment Approximately 20 hours per week. Typical hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary and includes every other weekend. Includes a 1-hour lunch break. $30.00 per hour
