La Mesa, CA Area Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8.5-hour shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. No weekends or holidays We are hiring full-time Certified Medical Assistants for primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics, and specialty clinics. Benefits $2,000 sign-on bonus 80 vacation hours Seven paid sick days 11 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Matching 401(k) $250 annual continuing education allowance Certification reimbursement Responsibilities Prepare examination and procedure rooms Check patients in and record medical histories and vital signs Assist providers with examinations and procedures Administer medications and injections when authorized Perform blood draws, EKGs, wound care, and specimen handling Coordinate referrals, laboratory testing, imaging, and follow-up appointments Maintain accurate electronic health records Requirements At least one year of Certified Medical Assistant experience within the past two years Graduate of an approved medical assistant training program Current Medical Assistant certification or registration, such as AAMA or AMT Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification Ability to pass a government background investigation Specialty, surgical, orthopedic, ENT, plastic surgery, or hospital experience is preferred for certain openings.
