Practice Founder Start date: September 2026 About Us We're a boutique gynecology practice where every team member directly impacts patient care. This isn't a role where you clock in and wait for instructions—it's a position for someone who wants to own their work and grow alongside a dynamic practice. The Role You'll be the engine that keeps our office running smoothly. From the moment a patient calls to the follow-up after their procedure, you'll play a critical role in their experience. You'll handle everything from patient acquisition and surgical scheduling to assisting in procedures and managing office operations.
This role is ideal for:
Certified medical assistants with one year or more of experience in the field; someone who thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days look the same. What You'll Do Patient Acquisition & Communication Answer patient calls and convert inquiries into booked appointments (we expect ~80% conversion) Respond to patient emails and texts promptly and thoroughly Follow up with warm leads and guide them toward becoming patients Surgical Scheduling & Coordination Determine billing pathways and obtain prior authorizations Schedule operating rooms and coordinate pre/post-op appointments Ensure patients receive pre-op preparation materials Clinical Support Room patients and take vitals Set up procedure trays and assist during in-office procedures Clean and sanitize rooms and equipment Administrative Operations Handle specimen processing and order medical supplies (IUDs, etc.) Maintain office inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance Manage vendor relationships Practice Growth Maintain our physician referral network spreadsheet Schedule meet-and-greets with referring practices Identify speaking opportunities for our physicians Who Thrives Here You're curious. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred Comfort with clinical tasks: vitals, procedure assistance, equipment sterilization Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping balls Genuine interest in women's health Bonus points if you: Have experience in a small practice or startup environment Speak Spanish Have experiences in sales/marketing
