REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

2 years in an outpatient clinic setting, 1 year in OBGYN

Certs:
BLS, License:

MA, Driver's License

Education:

HS/GED

Special Requirements:

Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture

Duties:

Schedule appointments and manage patient records. Take and record vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist physicians and nurses with patient care. Collect and prepare patient specimens for testing. Administer medications and injections as directed. Perform basic clinical procedures such as EKGs and blood draws, as trained and authorized. Clean and prepare examination rooms and medical equipment. Update patient information and medical histories. Document patient care and services in the EMR/EHR. Provide basic patient instructions and support. Handle phone calls, referrals, and routine administrative tasks. Follow infection-control, safety, and HIPAA requirements.

$30.00
