DERMATOLOGY OFFICE MEDICAL ASSISTANT / WILLING TO ASSIST WITH FRONT OFFICE AS WELL
(Full or Part Time) Immediate need for an experienced medical assistant for our aesthetic dermatology office. Located in beautiful Mill Valley, (Southern Marin County) CA, we are a busy, dynamic dermatology clinic providing medical and cosmetic dermatology, as well as Mohs skin cancer surgery. We are looking for a people person, who will be a welcoming face of the practice. It's a busy job that requires focus, accuracy, punctuality, detail orientation, and excellent phone and people skills!

  • Answer busy phones
  • Schedule appointments and surgeries
  • Check-in / Check-out Patients
  • Get insurance information accurately
  • General office administration duties
  • Prior Authorizations

Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting or medical practice; dermatology or cosmetic services experience a plus. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns. Treat patients and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to work as a team member. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly motivated and organized. Excels under pressure. Well-organized with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years Dermatology specific experience with knowledge working with Mod Med EMA and PM Software. Attention to detail and accuracy, self-motivation, plus superlative customer service skills is a must. Salary commensurate with experience.
