Responsibilities:
Greet, register, and check in patients while verifying demographic and insurance information. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient provider scheduling and patient flow. Answer and triage incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate clinical staff. Process prescription refill requests, referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests according to office protocols. Coordinate daily front desk operations, maintaining efficient workflows and providing excellent customer service. Train and support new front desk staff, assist with implementing new office procedures, and monitor workflow productivity. Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate ordering to ensure uninterrupted clinic operations. Collaborate with clinical and nursing staff to support patient care coordination and assist with tracking staff compliance requirements, including annual TB screenings and N95 fit testing.
