We are currently pursuing a search for the ideal candidate as our new Medical Assistant to mostly help with back office check out. Our growing practice consists of two full time OB/GYN physicians, physician assistants, ultrasound services 5 days/week, and full time supportive staff employees all located in beautiful Newport Beach, CA. This busy OB/GYN practice is looking to add a "Credentialed Medical Assistant". This position is full-time. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and prior experience as a Medical Assistant in an OB/GYN setting. Essential Responsibilities:

Checking patients out and back office support Rooming Patients Obtaining Vitals Giving Injections Assisting Physicians Phone Triage Scheduling Appointments, and any other duties as assigned. Verifying insurance authorizations, scheduling surgeries and inductions Helping with ordering tests and check out of patients Promote excellent customer service, problem solving and timely follow up Promote patient satisfaction and patient communication Other duties as assigned

Qualifications,Skills and Requirements:

Medical Assistant Certification required EMR ( Athena ) experience

RECOMMENDED

Prior OB/GYN / experience

REQUIRED

Candidate must have experience working in high volume practice which caters to 80+ patients per day. Minimum of 1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred Prior OB GYN/Family Medicine/Internal Medicine experience preferred Prior scheduling Ability to work independently and in a team setting Excellent prior work references Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
