Novato, CA 94945 Local candidates preferred Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will provide direct patient care and administrative support in a clinical setting while working closely with providers and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document symptoms and visit information in the EMR. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, injections, and immunizations. Perform Point-of-Care Testing (POCT ), quality control, and follow up on ordered test results. Manage patient records, referrals, prescriptions, and patient communications while maintaining confidentiality. Maintain clean and organized patient areas, assist with supplies/inventory, and follow infection-control and OSHA safety standards. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office, clinic, or other clinical setting. NHA or AMCA Medical Assistant certification required. High school diploma or GED required. BLS certification required (must be issued through the American Heart Association) Experience with

EMR EPIC

systems required. Experience with POCT and quality control preferred. Experience with scope/procedure reprocessing and autoclave procedures is a plus.
