Past Pre-PA employees have successfully gained admission to PA Programs.
Duties:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals
  • Assist with front and back office duties
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
  • Monitor and record patient information, including medical history and progress notes
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
  • Recent College Graduate on a Pre-PA program track
  • Completion of a certified Patient Care Technician program or equivalent training
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills for medical administrative support tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Skills:
  • Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of common medical procedures
  • Excellent patient care skills, including empathy, compassion, and attentiveness
  • Ability to accurately take vital signs and record patient information
  • Basic understanding of coding and billing processes related to patient care services
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
