Full-Time; shift assignment varies based on business needs (days, afternoons, or nights) About the Role We're hiring a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations on the production floor at our frozen food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll be on the floor for the majority of your shift, directly overseeing production lines, staff, and output to ensure we consistently meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets. What You'll Do Directly supervise production floor staff across assigned shift(s), including scheduling, task assignment, and performance management Monitor production lines to ensure output meets quality, safety, and food safety standards Troubleshoot line issues in real time and coordinate with Maintenance, QC, and Sanitation as needed Enforce GMPs, food safety protocols, and company safety policies on the floor Train, coach, and develop production employees; onboard new hires Track and report on production metrics (yield, downtime, labor efficiency) to the Production Manager Support production planning and staffing needs based on daily/weekly schedules Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels to ensure production lines are adequately supplied without overstocking Coordinate with Purchasing/Warehouse to track raw material usage, reconcile counts, and flag shortages or discrepancies Maintain clear communication across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs Help enforce compliance with HACCP, SQF, and other food safety/quality systems on the floor Address employee concerns and escalate HR matters as appropriate What You Bring Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage and motivate a diverse team Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety practices in a manufacturing setting Experience with inventory tracking or raw material management a plus Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under time pressure Flexibility to work varying shifts (days, afternoons, or nights) based on business needs Nice to Have Bilingual in Spanish/Chinese is a strong plus Experience operating or supervising automated potsticker/dumpling forming equipment is a strong plus
