This position supports the surgeon and clinical team throughout the patient journey, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, assisting during minor procedures, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, coordinating labs and imaging, taking and uploading patient photographs, and ensuring exam and treatment areas are clean, organized, and fully prepared. Responsibilities Welcome and room patients while creating a warm, professional experience Obtain and document vital signs and relevant medical history Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures Assist and chaperone the surgeon during examinations and minor procedures Communicate pertinent patient information to the provider Document visits accurately in the EHR Coordinate laboratory, imaging, and off-site procedures as needed Provide patient education as directed by the provider Take before-and-after patient photographs and upload them to the EMR Prepare, sterilize, clean, and maintain clinical equipment and treatment areas Stock exam and treatment rooms and communicate supply needs Handle specimens appropriately and track laboratory results Route laboratory results to the provider for review Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and other clinical standards Respond to provider and team needs throughout the day Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant program completion preferred Medical Assistant certification desirable 0-3 years of experience, preferably in a medical office Clinical assisting experience strongly preferred Excellent computer and EHR skills Comfortable with Microsoft Office, imaging software, and digital applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proactive, highly responsive, and patient-focused Strong professionalism and presentation Good problem-solving and analytical skills Commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience Pay dependent on experience.
