Role:
We are seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to join our busy orthopedic practice in Porterville and Delano. The MA will support clinic operations and help coordinate surgery scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Room patients, record vitals, and update medical history. Assist with orthopedic procedures (casts, splints, injections, wound care). Enter patient data into EMR and maintain accurate records. Coordinate imaging, physical therapy, DME, and referrals. Assist with surgery scheduling and follow-up coordination. Provide patient education and instructions. Support phone calls, scheduling, and other front-office needs.
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or CCMA). Prior orthopedic or surgery scheduling experience is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time, Monday-Friday. Competitive pay based on experience; benefits available.
