Job Description
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Medical Assistant in San Bernardino, CA. This is an on-site contract opportunity . Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

$22 to $24/hourType:
Six-Month Contract, possibility of an extensionLocation:
San Bernardino, CASchedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30PM Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and participate in the day-to-day clinical care of patients.
- Perform patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and medication reviews.
- Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians and in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Perform clinical procedures, including injections and ear lavage.
- Assist providers with invasive procedures and minor surgeries.
- Maintain clinical logs, including exam room maintenance and temperature logs.
- Submit electronic referrals for additional services.
- Enroll in and respond to electronic patient messages through the patient portal.
- Process medication refills and prior authorizations according to established protocols.
- Make and receive patient calls and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.
- Complete patient registration and check-in, including verifying demographic information, insurance, and required forms.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program/school OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience working in Family Practice, Specialty, or Internal Medicine is preferred.
- Experience working with HMO, PPO, and Medicare is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills.
