Travel Medical Office Assistant

• Inland Empire Hours M-F Daytime (willing to travel between locations)

HEAVY ON THE FRONT END SIDE

Duties:

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
• Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
• Assist with patient intake, including taking vitals and updating medical history
• Assist with discharge of patients and taking them to their ride home
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and clean between appointments, empty trash and dirty linen bags
• Assist healthcare providers with procedures and treatments as needed
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• There will be a lot of scanning, uploading and renaming of files between the office Practice EMR and the

Surgical Center EMR Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with insurance billing processes
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Previous experience in a high volume pain clinic a plus.
