Bilingual Back Office Medical Assistant Endocrinology, Internal Medicine San Dimas, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Spanish Vital signs Clinical information systems Patient care Medical assisting Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Bilingual Back Office Medical Assistant - 2 yrs experience required Run patient eligibility prior to patient visits, Schedule appointments and conduct reminder calls, Answer patient phone calls in a timely and courteous manner, Order labs, imaging, other tests as per doctor's request, Assist physicians with procedures typically performed in a medical office, Room patients and obtain basic medical information, Record patient's medical history; and taking vital signs, weight, and height, Prepare exam rooms, including setting equipment based on the procedure or purpose of examination and keeping the rooms neat and clean, Straighten up and clean exam rooms after patient encounters, Order labs, imaging, other tests as per doctor's request, Perform A1C, urine analysis, and other exams as needed, Document any performance measures after patient visits as required, Complete prior authorizations for medications, Obtain medical records for new patients, Draft correspondence and respond to inquiries effectively, 2 years of Medical Assistant experience, EMR experience is preferred (We use OfficeAlly), Spanish speaker, Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred), Salary based on
