In this vital role, you will support physicians in outpatient clinic setting. Experience with both front and back office will be preferred. Experience with insurances and authorization is must and will be a determining factor in hiring. If interested please email us your resume with contact information Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Support physicians with basic procedures such as medication administration, wound dressing, or X-ray positioning in compliance with safety protocols Manage medical administrative tasks including ICD coding, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient encounters Conduct initial assessments in inpatient or outpatient settings across specialties like dermatology, internal medicine, or emergency medicine Support emergency response efforts by maintaining readiness for urgent care situations and assisting with basic life support (BLS) when needed Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical or hospital settings; experience in rheumatology, dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing processes
