Full Job Description Employee Health Medical Assistant Location:
1010 Nut Tree Road, Vaca Valley Health Plaza, Vacaville, CA 95687
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | 8-hour shifts Job Summary Seeking a Medical Assistant to support Employee Health services, including employee health clinics, flu clinics, respiratory fit testing, new-hire medical clearance, TB testing, return-to-work, and employee wellness initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assist with Flu, Respiratory Fit Testing, and other Employee Health clinics. Review new-hire medical requirements and physical clearance records. Assist with employee medical clearance and return-to-work processes. Support workplace exposures, injuries, and appropriate follow-up. Collect, document, and upload TB results. Assist with wellness, injury-prevention, and Employee Health projects. Maintain accurate documentation and strict confidentiality. Provide support to RN Coordinators and Employee Health staff as needed. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program . Current AHA BLS certification or equivalent. Medical Assistant certification (state or national) within 3 months of hire. Previous medication administration experience required . Injection competency required. Strong attention to detail, computer skills, critical thinking, and confidentiality.
Preferred:

Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Have you graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program? Do you currently hold an AHA BLS certification or an equivalent BLS certification? Do you hold a current Medical Assistant certification, or are you able to obtain certification within 3 months of hire? Do you have previous experience administering medications? How much experience do you have working as a Medical Assistant? Are you available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, for 8-hour shifts? Do you have experience working in an acute-care hospital or ambulatory-care setting?
