- Hourly rate will be based on the level of experience. Responsibilities and Duties Excellent customer service skills are a must.
- Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrate compassion to patients.
- Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues.
- Perform other assigned duties or those within the scope of an MA.
- Place patients in exam rooms. Take vital signs and performs all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level.
- Assist and set up providers during examination, treatment, and procedures
- Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the medical provider.
- Stock rooms with required supplies Strong computer skills (data entry and typing). Honest, dependable, and conscientious. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) computerized practice management and other record keeping systems.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- Conduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleagues
- Operate and maintain all equipment in or pertaining to the clinical areas for daily use, safekeeping, and functionality
- Keep exam rooms between patients and other common areas clean.
