In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to healthcare provider, ensuring smooth clinical operations and exceptional patient experiences. Your expertise in procedures such as spirometry, walk test, administrative tasks, and patient interaction will help foster a welcoming environment that promotes health, healing, and trust. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in fast pace Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice clinic.
Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examination and procedures. Ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient appointments. Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, record medical history, records medications in patient's electronic chart. Conducting basic procedures like Spirometry and Walk Test. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), accurately. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Fill in for Receptionist if needed. schedule patient appointments, Answer phones as needed. Perform any other tasks needed for patient care as assigned by Physician, Office Manager or Supervisor Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
SKILLS:
Medical Assistant Course completed. Strong and knowledge of medical terminology. Computer Skills. Minimum of 6 months experience working in a medical office is must. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently and securely. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
