Job Profile:
Are you passionate about assisting patients and giving back to your community through medical care? Are you experienced with communicating clearly to both patients and providers? Do you have experience with time management for you to be efficient? Are you bilingual in English and Spanish? What You Get toDo:
Build relationship with the provider to anticipate their needs and save time. Open the lab for your team, prepare rooms for patients, print out the schedule and huddle with providers in the morning. Take patients to the treatment room, get their vitals and reason for the appointment. Perform blood draws, injections, and other lab tests. Prepare rooms for procedures. Process prior authorizations, medial assistant orders, scheduling patients, lab results, medication refills, and stock patient rooms. At the end of the day, you will close the pod labs, sterilize the rooms and instruments, and prepare for the next day. You get to serve your community - you are here for the patients, and they are very grateful. What We Need for thisJob:
Bilingual in English and Spanish. Completion of a Medical Assistant training program with over 100 hours of hands-on externship experience. Two (2+) years recent experience a Medical Assistant in lieu of school Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients. Always be respectful. $22.66 - $28.70/hour for a Certified Medical Assistant. $22.05 - $27.93 for an uncertified Medical Assistant. For an uncertified/no diplomaMedical Assistant:
Slightly below certified range. The posted range represents the full salary range for this position. Starting pay is based on factors such as directly related experience, education, licensure and/or certification, and internal equity.
