Four Mile Creek Health is a Direct Primary Care practice in Boulder, founded on a simple conviction: healthcare should be built on relationships, not billing codes. Our patients don't wait months for rushed, ten-minute appointments. They have a physician who knows their name, their history, and their goals along with a team that treats every interaction as an extension of that trust. We are hiring a Receptionist / Medical Assistant who is warm, reliable, and detail-oriented. We are looking for someone who takes pride in caring for patients, supporting clinicians, and keeping a small, high-touch practice running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a mission-driven team, not just clock in and out. The Role's Mission You will be the administrative and clinical backbone that keeps our practice grounded in excellent care. As the first point of contact for our patients, you set the tone for every visit, from the moment they call or walk in, to rooming them, to assisting with procedures and closing the loop on their care. Your interpersonal skills matter as much as your technical skills as you help create the calm, personal, relationship‑based experience our patients value. Our goal is for patients to feel genuinely cared for every time they interact with you. What You Will Do Patient communication : Answer incoming calls, texts, and portal messages with warmth and clarity; schedule and confirm appointments; help with onboarding and guide patients through questions or concerns.
Administrative support:
Sort faxes and mail, maintain accurate patient records, coordinate referrals, and support basic documentation tasks. Patient care support : Greet patients, take vitals, administer vaccines and injections per physician orders, perform point-of-care testing, EKGs, and label and send out patient specimens.
Clinical organization:
Maintain supplies, prepare exam rooms, manage inventory, and keep the clinic clean, orderly, and ready for care.
Team collaboration:
Work closely with the physician and administrative staff to maintain a cohesive environment. Preferred Experience & Skills Front-desk/reception experience Medical Assistant experience (certified or non-certified welcome) High School diploma or equivalent Comfort with patient interaction and clinical tasks Familiarity with EHR systems (Elation experience a plus) Basic understanding of HIPAA and clinical safety BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
