Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical assisting and customer service skills. This role requires a proactive individual capable of providing comprehensive patient care, managing medical documentation, and supporting clinical and administrative operations within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate record-keeping, and high-quality service delivery. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and wound care in accordance with established protocols. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling administrative correspondence. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain cleanliness of clinical areas. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Experience Prior experience working in medical offices or clinical settings a plus. Demonstrated proficiency in medical assisting tasks including phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, and patient education. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and record management.
