Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care support, assist our physicians and advanced practice providers, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations of a busy ENT and allergy office.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, chief complaints, and medical histories Assist providers during ENT exams, allergy testing, and minor in-office procedures Perform allergy skin testing and administer allergy injections under physician supervision Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits Process and administer medications and injections as directed by the provider Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; coordinate outside lab orders Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic tests Document accurate clinical notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients in a clear, caring manner Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice infection-control standards Support front-office staff as needed during busy periods

Qualifications:

Required High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant training or equivalent clinical education Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date) Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced specialty clinic environment Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential Previous experience in an ENT, allergy, or other specialty clinic Familiarity with allergy testing protocols and immunotherapy Experience with EPIC preferred

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
