Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Work as a part of an integrated team (psychiatry, mental health, and addiction) to coordinate treatment in a high volume, fast-paced clinic setting providing excellent patient care. Interview patients and document basic medical history Schedule appointments Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Take vital signs for patients Administer injections Observe urine collections/Collect urine samples Update patient charts within an EHR Complete prior authorizations Contact patients to address treatment concerns
