Responsibilities Greet patients and prepare them for examinations by taking vital signs and assisting with clinical procedures. Support the front office by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. Draw blood, administer vaccines, and perform phlebotomy/venipuncture procedures with attention to detail. Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and ensure documentation is complete and correct. Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed to support a smooth clinic operation. Maintain a collaborative relationship with staff to ensure quality patient care and health outreach initiatives. Required Skills Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship experience. Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients. Attention to detail and strong computer proficiency. Additional Skills & Requirements Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred. Experience with adult patient populations and fee collection preferred. Must be able to work scheduled hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 7:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday and Thursday. This position is for a health center that does not participate in HomeMed and focuses on health education and outreach. Schedule coverage from November 5th through November 9th, with specific shifts noted.
