About the Role As a Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside physicians and advanced practice providers to support outstanding patient care throughout the clinic. You'll assist with patient flow, clinical procedures, documentation, and day-to-day operations that help create an efficient, positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Clinical Care Prepare and room patients according to provider and clinic guidelines. Assist with transporting patients to and from procedure rooms, providing physical assistance when necessary. Obtain and record patient vital signs. Offer compassionate bedside support while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. Documentation & Administrative Support Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation while following HIPAA requirements. Print prescriptions, work restrictions, and service orders as directed by providers. Ensure provider documentation is completed accurately and in real time. Clinic Operations Clean, organize, and restock pre-op, PACU, and procedure rooms. Follow all Colorado Pain Care clinical policies and established procedures. Perform additional duties within your scope of practice as assigned. You'll Be Successful If You Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and coworkers. Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team. Stay organized while maintaining accurate EMR documentation. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid certification. Strong understanding of medical terminology. Experience using Windows-based computer systems and EMR software. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Preferred Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. Benefits Full-time schedule with a four-day work week (Monday-Thursday).
