The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills to assist dermatology providers in delivering high-quality skin and aesthetic care. Duties Assist dermatology providers during skin exams, biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures Document patient histories and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients for both medical and aesthetic treatments Administer injections and apply topical treatments as directed by the provider Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including assisting with billing and coding Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment and instruments are cleaned and sterilized per protocol Assist with prior authorizations, medication refills, and follow-up communications Skills Proficient in assisting with minor surgical and cosmetic dermatology procedures while maintaining sterile technique Strong knowledge of dermatologic terminology, procedures, and medication usage Familiarity with EMR systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration Well-organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting Previous dermatology or aesthetics experience required We would prefer candidates with a college degree or enrolled in an accredited university.
