Mountain West Dermatology, PC is a patient-centered dermatology practice committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for a wide range of skin concerns. We specialize in general and surgical dermatology and are proud of our supportive, team-oriented culture. We are seeking dedicated Medical Assistants to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Dermatology Medical Assistant supports our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. This individual plays a key role in preparing patients for their visits, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures Perform patient intake and record patient histories Prepare and maintain exam rooms, including cleaning and stocking supplies Accurately document information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Provide patient education on skin care, treatment protocols, and post-procedure instructions Handle administrative duties, including phone calls, scheduling, and other duties as assigned. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
